PROBLEM
The existing valve cover and valve cover seal can melt due to the close proximity of the turbocharger to these components on certain C9 Industrial Engines. If the valve cover and/or seal melts, it will result in an oil leak at that location.

Install the 323-1635 heat shield between the the turbocharger and valve cover. If this work is being done after a failure the failed parts would also be covered under this program.
