Installation procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Attach a hoist and a lifting strap to the flow divider valve.
Install the flow divider valve onto the main control valve. The weight of the flow divider valve is 64 kg (140 lb).
Install seven bolts (2). Torque the bolts to 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).
Install two hose assemblies (5) for installation purposes.
Install sensor (4).
Install two hose assemblies (1) to the flow divider valve for installation purposes.
Install high efficiency filters in place of the pilot filter, the case drain filter, and the return filter. Note: High efficiency filters should not be run for more than 250 hours before you change back to the standard filters.
Obtain a hydraulic oil sample from the main S O S port. Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Sampling Interval and Location of Sampling Valve" for the correct location.
If the S O S sample exceeds ISO 18/15, flush the hydraulic system. Reference: Refer to Contamination Control Guidelines, SEBF8436, "Hydraulic System Flushing Procedure for 320C Hydraulic Excavators" for further information.End By:
