Tooling Part Number Description Qty
A 1P-0510 Driver Group 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

If bearing (2) was removed, align the oil holes in the bearing and housing (1). Use Tooling (A) in order to install bearing (2). Bearing (2) should be even with the face of housing (1).

If bearing (3) was removed, use Tooling (A) in order to install bearing (3) approximately 7.6 mm (0.30 inch) above the face of housing (1).
If bearing (4) was removed, use Tooling (A) in order to install bearing (4) even with the bottom of the counterbore.
Use Tooling (A) in order to install seal (5) with the lips of the seal toward the inside and to the bottom of the counterbore. Apply a small amount of engine oil on the lip of seal (5).

Place shaft (6) and lever (9) in position in housing (1).
Place the lever and shaft assembly (8) through lever (9). Ensure that the end of lever (9) is engaged in the groove of shaft (6). Note: Before you install dowel (7) ensure that the end of shaft (8) does not make contact with the inner face of bearing (3). If the end of shaft (8) makes contact with the inner face of bearing (3) move bearing (3) away from the end of shaft (8).
Install dowel (7) that holds shaft (8) in place.
Use the bolt and the locknut in order to fasten lever (9) to shaft (8).

Place shaft (11) in position in housing (1).
Install gear (10) on shaft (11). End By:
Connect the governor and governor drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Governor and Governor Drive - Connect" for the engine that is being serviced.
