1. Disconnect air indicator line (2) from the elbow.2. Remove four bolts (3) and elbow (1). 3. Loosen bolt (4) and remove breather (5) from the valve cover. Move the breather away from the valve cover.4. Remove the three bolts and clips that hold wire harness (6) in position. Move the wire harness out of the way of the valve cover.5. Remove fifteen bolts (8). Remove valve cover (7). Remove the gasket from the valve cover.Install Valve Cover
1. Put 5H2471 Cement on the face of the valve cover and the top side of the gasket. Install the gasket in the valve cover.2. Put the valve cover in position on the cylinder head and install the fifteen bolts that hold it.3. Tighten the bolts in number sequence as shown in the illustration to a torque of 96 24 lb.in. (10.85 2.71 N m).4. Install the breather in the valve cover. Tighten the bolt in the breather to a torque of 120 24 lb.in. (13.56 2.71 N m).5. Install the wire harness on the valve cover. 6. Install elbow (1) for the air cleaner assembly. Connect the air indicator line to the elbow.end by: a) install air cleaner assemblyb) install hood
