This instruction provides the information in order to assemble the oil pump body and the oil pump idler gear.The 236-9918 Body Assembly is a service replacement for the following: 4N-0513 Oil Pump Body Assembly , 6N-2343 Pump Body Assembly and 235-1587 Body Assembly . When you replace your oil pump, look for an idler gear assembly. If you replace a pump with an idler gear, refer to ""Oil Pump Body with an Idler Gear"". If you replace a pump that does not have an idler gear, refer to ""Oil Pump without an Idler Gear"".Oil Pump Body with an Idler Gear

Oil pump housing with an idler gearIf you replace an oil pump body that has an idler gear assembly, you need to remove the pipe plug. Remove the pipe plug from location (1) before you assemble the idler gear.Oil Pump without an Idler Gear
