The problem that is identified in this Technical Information Bulletin does not have a known permanent solution. Until a known permanent solution is found, use the solution that is identified below.Problem
Under certain assembled conditions combined with certain loading and isolation mount wear, the 335-5763 can contact the 362-7806 Middle Core Support Bar on the radiator.Solution

(D) Radiator centered in the radiator guardThe four 8N-7257 Mount Assemblies (1) and four support shafts (A) welded to the 362-7807 Radiator Frame Assembly should be inspected for wear. If 8N-7257 Mount Assemblies (1) are worn or damaged, new 8N-7257 Mount Assemblies (1) should be installed with a combination of Loctite 648 (B) or the equivalent. Loctite 648 (B) should be placed between the outside diameter of support shafts (A) and the inside diameter of 8N-7257 Mount Assemblies (1) as shown in Illustration 1. When new 8N-7257 Mount Assemblies (1) are installed, there should be a 6.5 mm (0.25 inch) gap (C) between 8N-7257 Mount As (1) and the square plate welded to the radiator frame as shown in dimension (C) in Illustration 2.Note: The 6.5 mm (0.25 inch) dimension (C) should remain before, during, and after the 357-9977 Radiator Gp is installed in the 340-7080 Radiator Guard Gp . The 357-9977 Radiator Gp should be centered in the 340-7080 Radiator Guard Gp . Gap (D) should be equal on both the left-hand and right-hand side of the radiator assembly as shown in Illustration 3.
