Manual Lubrication Cycle (Two Pressure Sensor Systems)

Reference: Refer to System Operation, "Control System" for the procedures to initializing a manual lube cycle with VIMS.A manual lubrication cycle is initiated through the VIMS or ET (854K, 988K, 990K, 992K, 993K, and 994K), or through the manual lubrication switch or ET ( 988H and 993K). The manual lubrication cycle may not start immediately if the system is not ready at the time of triggering. Multiple consecutive manual lube cycles may be initiated through ET. In ET, the default value for the number of cycles is one cycle. ET will reset to one cycle when one of the following actions takes place:
ET is exited.
ET is disconnected.
The machine is powered down.Note: In ET, use the "Cancel" button to stop the manual lubrication cycle. The system will return to automatic mode.In the manual lubrication mode, the pump will continue to run until a pressure of 24000 kPa (3500 psi) is reached. When the pressure is reached, the pump will then shut off. The pump should be capable of reaching this pressure. If the pump is unable to reach this pressure during the manual cycle time, the pump will run for an extra 20 seconds at the maximum pressure to allow time for the adjustment.Detailed Operation of the Manual Lubrication Cycle (Two Pressure Sensor System)
In manual lubrication mode, the power train control begins by checking that the engine speed is greater than 600 rpm. If the engine speed is less than 600 RPM, then the power train control ignores the command for a manual lubrication cycle and returns back to automatic mode.
