Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Fasten a hoist to lift cylinder (6), as shown. Put the lift cylinder into position in the support assembly with the two spacers and install pin (7) .
Install retainer (8) and the bolt that holds pin (7) in place.

Connect hose assemblies (1) and (3) to the lift cylinder.
Install clips (2) and the bolt in order to hold hose assembly (3) in position on the lift cylinder.
Start the machine and move the lift cylinder until the rod assembly makes contact with the trunnion ball on the bulldozer blade.

Note: Install an equal amount of shims on each side of the cap in order to obtain a 0.3 mm (.010 inch) to 0.8 mm (.030 inch) clearance between the cap and the trunnion ball.
Put cap (5) and the shims into position on the rod assembly. Install four bolts (4) and the nuts.
Fill the implement hydraulic system. Refer to the appropriate Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
