Note: Before assembly, lubricate the bearing surfaces and the threads of the bolts, threads of the locknuts and the threads of the plugs with 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound. (1) Before assembly, lubricate the threads of two pipe plugs with 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound. (2) Tighten diagonally opposite bolts simultaneously to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).

Use the following procedure to tighten the nuts of the V-band clamps (4):
Tighten the nuts to 7.5 1.0 N m (66.4 8.9 lb in).
After the engine has been tested, again tighten the nuts to 7.5 1.0 N m (66.4 8.9 lb in). (5) Torque for the bolts ... 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft)
