Fault code: 3242-15 Diesel Particulate Filter Temperature is high {E1008(1)}

1. Associated Diagnostic Trouble Codes:________________ .
Troubleshoot the associated codes. Proceed to Step 2.
2. Inspect the ARD components for damage or loose connections.
If damage is found repair the components, Proceed to Step 3.
3. Check for High Exhaust Temperatures - Refer to "Troubleshooting, Exhaust Temperature Is High".
If the engine is experiencing high exhaust temperatures, repair the cause of the high exhaust temperature.
If the engine is not experiencing high exhaust temperatures, proceed to Step 4.
4. Remove the DOC Inlet, use Cat ET to set the value of the "ARD Manual Disable Status" configuration parameter to "Disabled" and perform a manual cylinder cutout test.
If a faulty injector is found, replace the injector, use Cat ET to set the value of the "ARD Manual Disable Status" configuration parameter to "Not Disabled" then proceed to Step 6.
If a faulty injector is not found, proceed to Step 5.
5. Remove the DOC inlet and inspect the DPF for oil/excessive soot. Inspect the DOC for plugging.
If oil is found, repair the source of oil.
If oil is not found, reassemble the DOC inlet and proceed to Step 6.
6. Perform a Manual DPF Regeneration. Was it successful?
If "yes" return machine to service.
If "no" replace the ARD Combustion Head and proceed to Step 7.
7. Perform a Manual DPF Regeneration. Was it successful?
If "yes" return machine to service.
If "no" contact dealer TC.

Fault code: 3556–7 Fuel Injector Not Responding{E1070(1)}

1. Associated Diagnostic Trouble Codes:________________ .
Troubleshoot the associated codes. Proceed to Step 2.
2. ARD Nozzle Heater Current Test - Note current flow:_______________ (between 7 and 14 amps for a 12V system, between 3.5 and 7 amps for a 24V system)
If current flow is correct proceed to Step 3.
If current flow is not correct, refer to Troubleshooting "ARD Nozzle Heater - Test" & complete included troubleshooting guide.
3. Disconnect ARD Nozzle heater wire from head. Without performing any test, measure voltage between heater connector and ground.
If voltage equals System voltage - Heater Relay is stuck ON, Replace Heater Relay and proceed to Step 4.
If voltage not equal to system voltage - Proceed to Step 4.
4. Replace the ARD Combustion Head. Perform an ARD Ignition Test.
If "yes" return machine to service.
If "no" refer to troubleshooting for associated codes.
