The Loctite 648 (retaining compound) or Loctite 120541 (core plug sealant) prevents oil leaks between the pulley and the wear sleeve. Prior to installing the sleeve to the pulley, apply the sealant to the inner side of the sleeve. Ensure that no excess sealant is allowed on the running surface of the sleeve.Adaptable To: The sealant is adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers and are effective with all the products after the listed serial numbers. The sealant is applicable for the part numbers listed in Table 1.
