(1) Inlet sensor port and test port
(2) Outlet sensor port and test port Using a water manometer or a mechanical gauge, perform the following:
Use the test ports (1) to test the pressure on the inlet side of the catalytic converter
Use the test ports (2) to test the pressure on the outlet side of the catalytic converter The differential pressure is calculated by subtracting the step 2 reading from the step 1. Refer to System Operation, Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjusting, KENR6870, "Catalytic Converter Pressure - Test" for specific information about differential pressure, and corrective actions.
