Installation Procedure

Place auxiliary pilot control valve (10) in position on the machine. Install two bolts (9) and the washers that secure the valve.

Install rubber bellows (8).

Place pedal plate (7) in position on the auxiliary pilot control valve. Install two bolts (6) and the washers that secure the pedal plate to the valve.

Install pedal cover (5) on the pedal plate.

Install two fittings (4) on the auxiliary pilot control valve.

Remove the plugs from the ends of four hose assemblies (3) that connect to the auxiliary pilot control valve. Check the condition of the O-ring seals that are used in the ends of four hose assemblies (3) prior to installation. If any of the O-ring seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Connect four hose assemblies (3) to the auxiliary pilot control valve. Tighten four hose assemblies (3) to a torque of 40 5 N m (30 4 lb ft).
Check the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for the proper oil viscosity and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the correct filling procedure.
