MODELS INVOLVED - 906H, 907H and 908H Compact Wheel Loaders
Dear Caterpillar Product Owner:
The steering columns need to be inspected replaced or reworked on the products listed below. The existing steering column can fail internally causing the horn to sound either constantly or not at all. The failure of the horn to sound may create a risk of personal injury or death. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 22Oct2009 when scheduling this service.
