387-0506 09051    The new air filter indicator switches can be identified by the date code that is inscribed on the housing. The improved switches with the date code that are referenced in Table 1 will have improved contacts in order to resist vibration that can cause nuisance faults for event code 107-15 and/or 107-16 "Engine Air Filter 1 Differential Pressure High".The date code is created by the first three digits that represent the day of the year and the last two digits represent the year. The last two digits are backwards, representing the last two digits of the year. For example, the last two digits of date code 03551 is 51. Reverse the order of 51 to 15 and 15 indicates that 2015 was the year that the indicator was manufactured. Verify that the replacement Indicator has a manufacturing date code later than date code that is listed in table 1.
