Ensure that the cables for the GPS receivers and the cables for the angle sensors are connected properly.If the cables are connected properly, proceed with "Starting The System".If the cables are NOT connected, proceed with Step 2.a.
Connect the cable for the left hand receiver to the connector that is located on the front panel of the receiver. Refer to Illustration 2.
Connect the cable for the right hand receiver to the connector that is located on the front panel of the receiver. Refer to Illustration 2.

Starting The System
In order to start the system, complete the following procedure.

Verify the Sensor Installation.
Insert your data card, which contains the design information, into the slot for the data card (6) on the Display.
Press the power key (7) on the Display.Immediately observe the pattern of the LED indicators on the light bars. The LED indicators on the light bars flash in the following sequence on start-up:
The LED indicators on the left hand light bar will flash in a sequence from the bottom to the top.
The LED indicators on the center (horizontal) light bar will flash in a sequence from left to right.
The LED indicators on the right hand light bar will flash in a sequence from the top to the bottom.
The LED indicators on all of the light bars will flash at the same time, twice.Note: For more information, Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Light Bar Start-Up Checks".When the AccuGrade System software is loaded, and the system checks are finished, the Plan View appears.The Display checks that all system components are present and that all system components are responding correctly. If there are any problems, the "Diagnostics" dialog will appear.Diagnostics Screen
The Display expects certain components to be connected to the system, depending on the system configuration. The "Diagnostics" Screen lists the expected components and the status of the components.

If any device does not respond while the system is running, the following message appears: "Some of the required system devices are not responding. Press OK in order to diagnose." When you press "OK", the "Diagnostics" dialog appears.The screen displays a list of devices that are currently connected to the system. The "Diagnostics" dialog lists each device and reports the following information:
the device name
the status of the device
the application firmware version number
the loader firmware versionThe application firmware must be the correct version before the device can be used in the system.The application firmware version number indicates which devices are detected and which devices have the correct version of the firmware loaded.Note: When none of the devices display "old version", you can use the system. With some older radios, the diagnostics are unable to report a version number,
