At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when the engine is stopped, and the filler plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Be sure all hydraulic pressure is released before any fittings, hoses or components are loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted.
d. Carefully loosen the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.e. Carefully loosen the plugs at the rear of the tilt cylinder. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two plugs. To release the pressure in the attachment cylinders, carefully loosen the two large plugs near the plugs at the top of the loader frame. When the oil stops draining, tighten the two large plugs.f. Tighten the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank.g. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. 4. Remove the bolts and guard (1) from the bottom of the cab. Put identification marks on all lines connected to the hand metering pump for installation purposes.5. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) from the hand metering pump.6. Remove nuts (2). 7. Loosen bolts (4), and remove hand metering pump (5). The following steps are for the installation of the hand metering pump.8. Align the splines in the hand metering pump with the shaft. Put the hand metering pump in position, and install bolts (4) that hold it.9. Install nuts (2). Connect hose assemblies (3) to the hand metering pump in their original locations.10. Reinstall guard (1).11. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the operation & maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.12. Separate the steering frame lock link.
