Torque to 8.0 2.0 N m (70.8 17.7 lb in). Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Raise hood (1) by activating switch (2). Turn battery disconnect switch (3) to the OFF position.

Remove clamp (4). Discard clamp (4).

Remove tube assembly (5).
Disconnect cable assembly (6).

Disconnect straps (8) from diesel particulate filter (10). Remove clamp (10). Discard clamp (9). Remove outlet assembly (7).

Remove clamp (11). Discard clamp (11). Remove diesel particulate filter (10). Installation Procedure
Install diesel particulate filter (10) in the reverse order of removal.
Install a new clamp (11). Tighten clamp (11) to a torque of 60 5 N m (44 4 lb ft). Do not exceed 400 RPM.
Install a new clamp (9). Tighten clamp (9) to a torque of 60 5 N m (44 4 lb ft). Do not exceed 400 RPM.
Tighten straps (8) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).
Hand tighten cable assembly (6).
Install a new clamp (4). Tighten clamp (4) to a torque of 35 2 N m (26 1 lb ft).
