(3) Length of rod ... 564 3 mm (22.2 0.1 inch)Note: The length of the rod must be measured along a straight line between the centerlines of the rod end mounting holes. (4) Torque for the locknut on the lever ... 30 7 N m (22 5. lb ft)Lift Kickout and Bucket Positioner Adjustment Procedure
Rotate the bucket to the TILT BACK position. Raise the lift arms until the bucket starts to rotate to dump. Measure the angle of the bottom of the bucket with a magnetic protractor. The angle of the bucket should be 55 2° from the horizontal, when the bucket is starting to dump.
If it is necessary to adjust the bucket angle, remove the clip and the pin from the rod end (1). For each revolution of the rod end, the angle of the bucket will change 4°.
Fasten the rod end (1) to the lever assembly with the pin and the clip and repeat step 1.
If the bucket angle is correct, tighten the rod end locknut (2) to a torque of 20 5 N m (15 4 lb ft).
Place the loader bucket flat on the ground.
Loosen the screws (7). Position the wheel on the switch (5) on the ramp of the guide (8) at a point so that the switch will barely contact the ramp. Lightly tighten the screws (7) .
When you are in the cab, use the loader control lever in order to lower the bracket assembly. Lower the bracket assembly until the actuation of the return-to-dig switch returns the bucket to a level position. Tighten the screws (7) . 122-1644 Lift Arm Sensor Wiring Group (Parallel Lift)
Illustration 2 g00335079
Place shims on the control group (5) as required in order to achieve a gap of 6.0 2.0 mm (0.24 0.08 inches) between the contact group and the magnet assembly (4). Tighten the two bolts (6) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft). Tighten the two bolts (7) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft).
Preset the rod assembly (3) so that the distance (A) from the end of the cylinder housing to the first clamp is 130 10 mm (5.12 0.39 inch) when you operate the machine with a bucket. Preset the rod assembly (3) so that the distance from the end of the cylinder housing to the first clamp is 255 10 mm (10.04 0.39 inch) when you operate the machine with forks. Tighten the clamps (2) to a torque of 11 1 N m (97 8.9 lb in).
Rotate the attachment to the TILT BACK position. Raise the lift arms. Measure the angle of the bottom of the attachment with a magnetic protractor. The angle should be 55 2° from the horizontal.
