Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Park the machine on a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propulsion lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.

Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Stop the engine.

Measure the distance between the center lines of the pins of the tie rod. The distance should be equal to the value of (A) . Refer to Illustration 3.
If the measurement is outside the specified range, go to Step 7. If the measurement is inside the specified range, go to Step 9.

Loosen clamp bolt (4) on either side of tie rod (3) . Adjust the tie rod until the distance between the center lines of the pins of the tie rod is equal to the value of (A) . See Illustration 3.
Tighten clamp bolts (4) .

Measure the distance between the center lines of the pins of the rear steering cylinder. The distance should be 1225 2 mm (48.22 0.01 inch).
If the distance is within the specified range, the wheels are in the center (straight forward) position. If the distance is not within the specified range, use the rear steer jog switch to move the wheels until the measurement is attained.
