Bolt tightening sequence

1 32 8T-4187 Bolt Tighten bolts in a numerical sequence to standard torque as shown in the Illustration 2.
2 2 8T-4132 Nut Use the following procedure in order to tighten the nut:
1. Hand tighten two screws and turn back to 180 degrees.
2. Torque to 240 40 N m (177 29 lb ft).
3 2 3B-8485 Elbow Torque to 14 2 N m (124 18 lb in).

4 2 5P-7802 Bearing Before installation, bore is 69.835 to 69.850 mm (2.7494 to 2.7500 inch).
5 1 174-5605 Hitch Pin Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts (5):
1. Tighten bolts to 460 60 N m (339 44 lb ft).
2. Use a suitable tool in order to strike the hitch pins drive into tapers.
3. Continue to strike the hitch pins and continue to apply torque to bolt (5) until no loss of torque is evident.

8 1 2U-5386 Seal Before installation of seal (7), apply three drops of Loctite 406 equally spaced to degrease the outer diameter of spacer (8).
