Machine Stopping
Park on a level surface. If it is necessary to park on a grade, block the tracks securely.Do not engage the park brake while the machine is moving unless an emergency exists.
1. Move the travel lever (1) to the neutral position and move the neutral lock into place.2. Turn the park brake selector (2) to ON.3. Move the spray bar switch (3) and all the light switches (4) to OFF. 4. Lower the support legs. If the machine is to be parked in freezing weather, run the machine onto wooden planks, rocks or brush to keep the tracks from freezing to the ground.Engine Stopping
1. With the machine stopped, run the engines for five minutes at low idle. 2. Pull the engine A throttle lever (1) all the way forward to stop the cutter drive engine.3. Turn the engine B start switch (2) to OFF and remove the key.Leaving the Machine
1. Inspect the engine compartments for debris. Clean out any debris and paper to avoid a fire. 2. If the machine is being parked for an extended period (overnight, etc.), turn off the disconnect switch and remove the key. 3. Lower the operator's panel cover and install all vandalism protection locks and covers. 4. Use the steps and handholds, use both hands and face the machine, when dismounting.This machine can be dismounted either at the left front or the right rear of the machine.
