The 515-3303 Monitor Software was recently released through the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS). The new software has a problem when installed on machines equipped with Cat Grade with Assist. If this monitor software is flashed on these machines, the operator cannot change from Auto to Manual mode.Solution
Do not install the new 515-3303 Monitor Software on machines equipped with Cat Grade with Assist. As an interim repair, flash the former 500-9172 Monitor Software, if necessary.Contact Excavator product support through the Dealer Solution Network (DSN) to obtain the 500-9172 Monitor Software.
