There are holes in the bores for the main bearings, between cylinders 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 5 and 6 for piston cooler orifices. These holes must have either orifices (9) or plugs (8) installed.
If a turbocharger is installed on the engine, be sure to install orifices (9) and an engine oil cooler.
