Ease the lift lever into the DETENT position and allow the lift lever to kick out.Note: When the bucket has reached the end of the weigh range, a small weight may be displayed on the screen. See the screen in Illustration 13. This value will vary depending on the oil temperature, the amount of material that is left in the bucket, and the condition of the linkage.

Reweigh/zero/clear switch (2) Clear/zero switch
Press the clear/zero switch (2) and hold the clear/zero switch, until the "Zero Accepted" message that is shown in Illustration 15 is displayed. The clear/zero switch is shown in Illustration 14.

Press the "OK" button once in order to return to the default weigh screen.Note: The screen that is shown in Illustration 16 will be displayed when zeroing is not accepted and the weight that is displayed is greater than the weight that is calibrated by at least 15%. If the screen that is shown in Illustration 16 is displayed, make sure that the bucket is cleaned out. When the bucket is sufficiently empty, lift the empty bucket again.

Unsuccessful zero operation screenClear Function
The clear function allows the operator to clear the display without storing data into the ECM memory. The clear/zero switch is the bottom half of the rocker switch. Momentarily press the clear/zero switch in order to achieve the following:
Reset the bucket weight to zero.
Reset the truck weight to zero.When the clear/zero switch is momentarily pressed the following will occur:
The bucket weight and the truck weight will show "0.00" on the display.
A new weigh cycle can be started.Note: If the clear/zero switch is held for more than one second, a zero of the system will be attempted.Note: If storing the truck weight data into memory is desired, the clear function should not be used. Once the display has been cleared, the data cannot be stored or recovered. The store switch must be used to store data to memory.Messages For Downloading Data
The PCS stores data of the truck load cycles. The data can be transferred to a personal computer for analysis of the data. 1000 truck loads can be stored in the control. Any additional loading cycles that occur before a download of the data will cause the oldest stored data to be deleted. The payload memory events will remain active until the data is downloaded to a PC. If the onboard memory is full, the latest data will be stored continuously. The oldest data will be permanently erased.PCS will display messages in order to instruct the operator to download the data.
