Glass (A) may crack at lower rear portion of cab on machines listed above. This issue may be due to minimum clearance between the roading hold down bracket (B) to the cab rear glass. Contact may occur when the cab and the hydraulic tank sway on their isolated mounts.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and recommending to follow the below interim repair solution.

Loosen bolts on mounting bracket (B). Adjust bracket (B) in counter-clockwise direction to increase the clearance. After adjustment, tighten bolts to standard torque.

Also grind the corner area marked in the mounting bracket (B) as shown in illustration 5 to increase the clearance.
