Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fuel temperature sensor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install".
Remove the fuel pressure sensor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Pressure Sensor - Remove and Install".
Remove the fuel filter base. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Filter Base - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove fuel bypass valve (1) from fuel filter base assembly.
Remove O-ring seals (2) and (3) from fuel bypass valve (1).

Remove dust cap (4) and straight adapter (5).
Remove O-ring seal (6) from straight adapter (5).

Remove elbow adapter (7) and O-ring seal (8).
Remove cap (12) from check valve (10).
