GEAR-TRANSFER 5N5881 - Caterpillar

Table 1 contains the parts needed to update the fan drive to the three bolt design from the previous two bolt design. Table 3 contains the effective serial numbers for this change.Note: Some applications require replacement or modification of the fan adapter and others do not. Table 2 contains the adapter needed for each machine.Reference: Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS0119, "Field Installation Instructions for the 2-bolt to 3-bolt Fan Drive Upgrade on Certain 3500 Machines" for installation instructions.
