ECM for the Payload System (1) Battery cover.This diagnostic code is recorded when the ECM for the payload system determines that the internal battery power is low. The time and the date may be lost when the machine is shut off.The possible causes of this diagnostic code are listed:
The voltage of the backup battery is low. The voltage is less than 2.5 DCV.
The ECM has failed.Test Step 1. Replacing The Internal Battery
Turn the key start switch to the ON position.
Remove the cover for the internal battery.ReferenceSee Testing and Adjusting, "Battery (Internal Backup) - Replace" for more information.
Install the new battery.
Access the display for the Service Mode.
Scroll to the diagnostic code and clear the diagnostic code.Expected Result:The diagnostic code can now be cleared.Results:
