Installation Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Position flange (18) and install four bolts (19) .

Install adapter (17) and two bolts (16) .

Position coupling (14) and install three bolts (15) .

Position panel (4) and use the suitable lifting device to position main hydraulic pump (13) on the machine. The weight of main hydraulic pump (13) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).

Install bolts (12) .

Connect tube assembly (11) to the hydraulic main pump with bolts (10) .

Connect hose assemblies (9), (8), (7), (6), and (5) .

Install panel (2). Connect clip (3) .

Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".End By: Install the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove and Install".
