(1) Torque three bolts ... 48 7 N m (35 5 lb ft)(8) Tighten until bottom of housing (8) contacts the bottom of the base. Do not use an air wrench.Linkage Adjustment Procedure
Before attempting to adjust the winch control linkage, disconnect the winch control rods from the winch control levers, and remove spring (12).1. Turn setscrew (10) inward to obtain a clearance of 0.08 0.08 mm (.003 .003 in) between setscrew (10) and valve plunger (11). Tighten locknut (9).2. Loosen bracket mounting bolts (5) and (6).3. Rotate and hold lever assembly (4) to the FREESPOOL position against the stop.4. Adjust bracket (7) to seat the lever roller into the FREESPOOL notch (2) of cam (3).5. Torque for bolt (5) ... 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft)6. Torque for bolt (6) ... 48 7 N m (35 5 lb ft)7. Install the spring, and connect the winch control rods to the levers.
