Secure bracket assembly (D) to guard assembly (B) by using two bolts (8), four hard washers (9), and two locknuts (10) .Bracket assembly (D) installation is also covered in the Special Instruction, REHS7981, "Procedure to Install the Working at Heights Attachment on the 789D Off-Highway Truck".

Secure guard assembly (B) to the right side of the transmission by using the same hardware that was retained from Step 1 of the ""Fabrication to the Transmission Guard Assembly"".

Secure platform (11) to the transmission by using four bolts (12), four hard washers (13), four bolts (14), and four washers (15) .Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft).
