1 20 234-6681 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts for the U - Joints:
Before assembly, wipe the bearing cap and the yoke mounting faces.
Use the run down bolts to seat the U - Joints.
Then, replace the run down bolts with new 234-6681 Bolt. Tighten the bolts in X pattern to 150 15 N m (111 11 lb ft)
Again, tighten the bolts in X pattern to 150 15 N m (111 11 lb ft).
2 1 107-5006 Universal Joint Gp Lubricate slip spline with 5P-0960 Grease Cartridge with machine fully articulated.
3 2 8T-3007 Lip Type Seal Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
8T-0336 Pressure Relief Fitting Install 107-5002 Bearing Cage with 8T-0336 Pressure Relief Fitting located on the left side of the machine.
5 1 8T-0362 Bolt Torque to 520 70 N m (384 52 lb ft).
