Locate the existing 3 mm (0.12 inch) holes in the back of the seat.Reference (A)

Thread 4K-9429 Pop Rivet (1) through 5P-7957 Lanyard (2) and 395-3544 Retainer. Choose a hole at one end of the retainer.

Locate the holder (4) against the back of the operator seat at the location found in 1.
Insert the Pop Rivet (1), Lanyard (2), and Retainer (3) at the left most hole.
Ensure that the Retainer (3) and Holder (4) is pulled to the right as far as possible.
Orient the lanyard (2) as shown in Illustration 4 Secure Pop Rivet (1), Lanyard (2), Retainer (3,) and Holder (4) .Note: Use a suitable rivet gun to fix the Pop Rivet in place

Fix the retainer (3) at the far right hole with a Pop Rivet (1) .

Fix the retainer (3) with Pop Rivets (1) at the remaining holes.

Thread Cable Splice Sleeve (2a) onto the Lanyard.
Thread the Lanyard (2) through the machine Operation and Maintenance Manual.Note: Use the top hole of the manual.
Install the end of the Lanyard (2) all the way into the sleeve (2a), but do not leave the end of the Lanyard exposed.
Use a suitable tool to compress the Cable Splice Sleeve onto the Lanyard (2) securing the Operation and Maintenance Manual to the Lanyard.

Install the Operation and Maintenance Manual into the holder and secure closure.
