1 1 308-7298 Water Separator and Fuel Filter As Use the following procedure to assemble the water separator and fuel filter group:
1. Remove the cap from bottom of the water separator and fuel filter assembly.
2. Remove the 220-8678 Ring Seal from underside of the cap and discard the cap.
3. Use oil to lubricate the 220-8678 Ring Seal and reinstall into the groove of the bowl assembly.
4. Install the bowl assembly onto threads of the filter assembly.
5. Tighten the 310-5912 Bowl (2) to 15 N m (133 lb in).
