Conditions Which Generate This Code:The turbocharger compressor outlet pressure is used to obtain Boost Pressure. The ECM reads turbocharger compressor outlet pressure above 200 kPa (29 psi). The engine speed is within 50 rpm of low idle for 5 seconds or the effective fuel is equal to 20. The diagnostic codes 262-03, 262-04, 273-03, 273-04, and 273-13 may or may not be active.System Response:The CID-FMI is logged in memory. The CID-FMI may be viewed on a display module or the ET. The ECM flags turbocharger compressor outlet pressure as invalid data regardless of actual Turbocharger Boost Pressure. The ECM uses a default value of 0 kPa (0 psi).There are two conditions that can cause this problem. The first condition exists when the diagnostic codes 262-03, 262-04, 273-03, 273-04, and 273-13 are not present and the Boost Pressure is above normal. This condition indicates a mechanical problem with the turbocharger or the air system. Check the turbochargers and the air system for mechanical problems.The second condition exists when any of the following diagnostic codes 262-03, 262-04, 273-03, 273-04, and 273-13 are active and the Boost Pressure is above normal.
