Install O-ring seal (31) and two dowels (32).

Install rear body assembly (21) to end plate (30).
Install pressure plate (28) with pressure seal (29). Ensure seal (29) faces away from the gears. Install the machined notch (trap slot) in pressure plate (28) toward the outlet of the pump. Note: Do not use force to install the pressure plates. Hold the pressure plates as level as possible and slide them into position.

Install drive gear (26) and idler gear (27).

Install pressure plate (23) with pressure seal (24). Ensure seal (24) faces away from the gears. Install the machined notch (trap slot) in pressure plate (23) toward the outlet of the pump.
Install O-ring seal (25) and two dowels (22).

Install plate (14) to rear body assembly (21).

Install eight bolts (19).
Install coupling (18). Ensure the snap ring is located in coupling (18).
Install O-ring seal (20) and two dowels (17).

Install front body assembly (10) to plate (16).
Install four nuts (15). Tighten four nuts (15) to a torque of 115 7 N m (85 5 lb ft).

Install pressure plate (13) with pressure seal (14). Ensure pressure seal (14) faces away from the gears. Install the machined notch (trap slot) in pressure plate (13) toward the outlet of the pump.

Install drive gear (11) and idler gear (12).

Install pressure plate (8) with pressure seal (9). Ensure pressure seal (9) faces away from the gears. Install the machined notch (trap slot) in pressure plate (8) toward the outlet of the pump.
Install O-ring seal (7) and two dowels (6).

Use Tooling (A) to install lip seal (5) to flange assembly (1). Install lip seal (5) with the lip of the seal towards the inside of the pump.
Install retaining ring (4) (not shown). Install the opening of retaining ring (4) over the drain hole in flange assembly (1).
Use Tooling (A) to install lip seal (3). Install lip seal (3) with the lip of the seal away from the pump. Lubricate lip seals (3) and (5) with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install flange assembly (1) to front body assembly (10).

Install eight bolts (2). Tighten eight bolts (2) to a torque of 228 10 N m (165 7 lb ft). Install the O-ring seal to flange (1). End By:
Install the hoist, brake, and pilot pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Hoist, Brake, and Pilot) - Install".
