Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position the gasket and water pump (1) on the engine block. Install bolts (4).
Position elbow assembly (6). Install bolts (5).
Connect hose (2).
Tighten hose clamps (3) to a torque of 7.0 0.5 N m (62 4 lb in).
Install belt (7). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Replace".
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)". End By:
Install the alternator, if necessary. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove and Install".
