Remove the drum.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Position suitable blocks on both sides of the drum assembly.
Drain the vibratory support oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Vibratory Support Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Rotate and secure the vibratory support with a suitable clamp.
Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to bracket (1). The weight of bracket (1) is approximately 38 kg (84 lb). Remove bolts (2) and remove bracket (1).

Remove the suitable clamp. Rotate and secure the vibratory support with a suitable clamp.
Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to bracket (3). The weight of bracket (3) is approximately 38 kg (84 lb). Remove bolts (4) and remove bracket (3). Remove the suitable clamp.

Remove the bolts and vibratory motor (6) from the vibratory support housing (5).

Remove vibratory shaft (7) from vibratory support housing (5). Place a suitable cover over vibratory support housing (5) in order to prevent contamination.

Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to plate assembly (8). The weight of plate assembly (8) is approximately 122 kg (269 lb). Remove bolts (9) and plate assembly (8).

Remove the bolts and mounts (10) from plate (11).

Attach a suitable lifting device, Tooling (A), and Tooling (B) to vibratory support housing (5). Remove bolts (12) and remove vibratory support housing (5). The weight of vibratory support housing (5) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb). Installation Procedure
Install vibratory support housing (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of bolts (12) before installing.
Apply Tooling (D) to the spines on both ends of vibratory shaft (7) before installing.
