(9) Implement pumpThe winch system consists of two independent systems. Boom winch (1) controls the movement of the boom and hook winch (2) controls the movement of the hook. Both winches receive oil from implement pump (9). The swashplates of the implement pump and motors on the winches are controlled electronically by signals from implement ECM (5) and machine ECM (4). The operator uses hook and boom control (3) to command the hook or boom to move and the signal is interpreted by the ECMs.In the event of engine failure, the winches can be activated by using dead engine lower valve (7) that is at the rear of the machine. Accumulator pressure is required from dead engine lower accumulator (8) to activate the winches.
