(C) Steering cooler inlet. (D) Steering cooler outlet.4. Install two elbows (1) to core assembly (3) with two seals (2).
Before installation of core assembly (3): Install hose (3A) [cut (slit) entire length of hose and spiral (wrap)] around tube at bottom of core assembly (3). This is to provide insulation to ensure that tools or battery terminals do not come in contact with core assembly (3) and cause an electrical short.
5. Install core assembly (3) to cooler mount brackets with four washers (8) and four bolts (9). It may be necessary to remove the left cooler mount bracket on either the Challenger 65B or 75. It is necessary to remove the battery on the left side on the Challenger 75 to gain clearance for tube assembly installation. Do Step 6 and Step 8 together.6. In the left front corner of the frame, install tube assemblies (6) and (7) into the frame through the holes in the baffles.7. At steering cooler inlet (C), connect tube assembly (6) to elbow with seal (10). At steering cooler outlet (D), connect tube assembly (7) to elbow with seal (10).
(E) Implement cooler inlet. (F) Implement cooler outlet.8. Install tube assemblies (4) and (5) into the frame through the holes in the baffles in the left front corner of the frame.9. At implement cooler inlet (E), connect tube assembly (4) to elbow with seal (10). At implement cooler outlet (F), connect tube assembly (5) to elbow with seal (10).

At steering cooler outlet (D), connect tube assembly (6) to hose splice (G) with two hose clamps (H).11. At steering cooler inlet (C), connect tube assembly (7) to hose splice (G) with two hose clamps (H). Four hose clamps (H) were removed with the previous steering cooler lines (A) in Step 2.12. Install two clips (J) to tube assemblies (6) and (7) with two washers and two bolts. Two clips (J), two washers, and two bolts were removed with the previous steering cooler lines (A) in Step 2. 13. Install tee (11) to tube assembly (4) with seal (10).14. Install tee (12) to tube assembly (5) with seal (10).15. Install valve (14) to tee (11) with seal (2). Install valve (14) with flow arrow pointed to the right side of the machine.16. Install connector (13) to valve (14) with seal (2).17. Connect tube assembly (15) to connector (13) on valve (14) and to tee (12) with two seals (10).18. Install two clips (18) to tube assemblies (4) and (5), with two washers (17) and two bolts (9).19. Connect tube assembly (16) to tee (12) with seal (10).20. Connect hose assembly (38) to tee (11) with seal (10). 21. Remove tube assembly (K) and two clips (L). Loosen elbow (M) at implement oil filter for reorientation and connection of tube assembly (16).22. Remove hose
