Information:

1. Remove floor plate (2) and plate (1). 2. Disconnect linkage (4) for governor from the pedal.3. Disconnect the wiring (3) from sending unit.4. Remove the two air lines (5).5. Disconnect all lines from foot control valve. 6. Remove the bolts (6) from each of the two handrails.7. Remove the bolts (7) that hold steering column to the dash. 8. Remove the bolts (8) that hold the dash to the frame, and lay the dash against the front counterweights.9. Remove the foot control valves and the floor plate as a unit. 10. Disconnect the linkage for transmission control from the rod and tube (9).11. Remove the bolts (10) that hold steering column to the steering gear. Remove the steering column. 12. Disconnect the linkage for steering control valve from the steering gear. 13. Remove the nut (11). Disconnect the follow-up linkage from the steering gear.14. Remove the bolts (12) that hold steering gear to the support bracket. 15. Install a 3/8"-16NC forged eyebolt in top of steering gear. Fasten a hoist and remove the steering gear. Weight of steering gear is 60 lb. (22 kg).Install Steering Gear
1. Install a 3/8"-16NC forged eyebolt in top of steering gear. Fasten a hoist and put the steering gear into position on the machine. Install the bolts (2) that hold steering gear in place. 2. Put the follow-up linkage in position, and install the nut (1). Tighten the nut to 450 25 lb.ft. (62,2 3,5 mkg).3. Connect the linkage for steering control valve to lever (3). 4. Put the steering column (4) in position on steering gear, and install the bolts (6). 5. Connect the linkage for transmission control to the rod and tube (5).6. Install the floor plate and foot control valves as a unit. 7. Put the dash in position, and install the bolts (7).8. Install the bolts (9) that hold steering column to the dash. 9. Install the bolts (8) that hold the handrails in place. 10. Install the two air lines (12).11. Connect wiring (10) to sending unit.12. Connect the remainder of the lines to the foot control valve.13. Connect the linkage (11) for governor to the pedal. 14. Install the floor plate and plate (13).15. Check the oil level in steering gear housing, and fill as necessary.Disassemble Steering Gear
start by: a) remove steering gear 1. Remove the cover from over sector (1).2. Put alignment marks (2) on sector (1) and nut.3. Remove the nut from sector (1). Remove the sector and shaft as a unit from housing. 4. Remove the bolts (3) and cover. 5. Remove the housing (6).6. Remove bearings and seal from housing (6).7. Remove retaining ring (4), nut (5), and washer from the shaft.8. Remove the retainer from shaft. Remove the bearing from retainer.9. Slide the shaft out of housing as far as possible, and remove the retaining ring, nut, and spacer. 10. Turn shaft (7) out of nut (8).11. Remove shaft (7) and nut (8) from housing. 12. Remove the retaining
