To prevent personal injury, release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
Start By:a. relieve hydraulic pressure to hoist and tailgate cylinders 1. Disconnect two hose assemblies (1) on each hoist cylinder (2). 2. Remove grease nipple adapter (3) and bolt (5) from pin assembly (4). 3. Attach a sling and hoist to the upper end of hoist cylinder (2). Use tool (A) to remove pin assembly (4). 4. Using the hoist, lower hoist cylinder (2) and rotate out from the trailer body. Position the hoist cylinder to rest on the forks of a lift truck or suitable fixture. Repeat on the other side of trailer. 5. Disconnect three hydraulic oil lines (6). Cap or plug off immediately. The lines in the photo have already been removed from the machine. 6. Remove nut (8) from lamp assembly (7). Set the lamp assembly aside. Remove two bolts (10). Set back-up alarm aside. 7. Remove bolt (11) from each pin assembly (12). Remove bolt (13) from each pin assembly (12). 8. Attach chains and hoist to dump assembly body (14). Apply sufficient tension to the chains to relieve pressure on two pin assemblies (12).9. Use tool (B) to remove two pin assemblies (12).10. Remove dump assembly body (14) from the chassis.
