Failure to correctly orient seal assembly may cause loss of lubrication and eventual damage to machine.
Illustration 1. Tilt link to bucket pin joint (C). Tilt link to tilt lever pin joint (D). 1R-1056 Seal Assembly is a two part seal assembly. 1R-1059 Ring Assembly Seal (1) is a hard black plastic ring. 1R-1057 Ring Load (2) is a softer brown rubber ring that provides compression.
Illustration 2. The notable feature of 1R-1059 Ring Assembly Seal (1) is the tough rubber lip (A) on the flange (B). This rubber lip (A) seals against the bushing.
Correct orientation of assembled 1R-1059 Ring Assembly Seal (1) and 1R-1057 Ring Load (2) as installed in collar (E). Note the location of the chamfered (F) side of 1R-1057 Ring Load (2) against the flange (B) of the ring assembly seal (1).Install the chamfered (F) side of 1R-1057 Ring Load (2) against the flange (B) of the ring assembly seal.Install assembled 1R-1056 Seal Assembly into the large groove on the end of each collar (E). Install so brown rubber loading ring is inside toward the bottom of the collar grove and the black plastic lip seal is facing out. Refer to photo for correct installation orientation.
