Install Glow Plugs
1. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of glow plug (1). 2. Use tool (A) to install the glow plug in the precombustion chamber. Tighten the glow plug to a torque of 120 24 lb.in. (13.6 2.8 N m).3. Connect the wire to the glow plug.end by:a) install valve coverRemove Precombustion Chambers
start by:a) remove fuel injection valvesb) remove glow plugs (if so equipped) 1. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system. Disconnect tube (2) from the precombustion chamber.2. Use tool (A) and remove precombustion chamber (1) from the cylinder head.3. Remove the gasket and O-ring seal from the precombustion chamber.Install Precombustion Chambers
1. Install O-ring seal (2) and gasket (3) on precombustion chamber (1).2. Put liquid soap on the bore of the cylinder head and on O-ring seal (2).3. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the precombustion chamber.4. Use tool (A) and install the precombustion chamber. Tighten to a torque of 150 10 lb.ft. (205 14 N m).5. Connect the tube to the precombustion chamber. Fill the cooling system to the correct level.
