Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the conveyor (first stage). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Conveyor (First Stage) - Remove and Install".
Place the first stage conveyor on suitable stands.

Remove the bolts and frame assembly (2) from first stage conveyor (1) .

Remove the bolts and covers (3) from first stage conveyor (1) .

Remove the bolts, the washers, and rubber deflector (5). Remove the bolts and deflector (4). Use two people to remove deflector (4) .

Loosen nuts (8) on both sides of first stage conveyor. Loosen tension on conveyor belt (6) with adjusting bolts (7) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to one side of first stage conveyor (1). Lift first stage conveyor (1) and slide conveyor belt (6). Attach lifting slings and a suitable lifting device in order to remove conveyor belt (6). The weight of conveyor belt (6) is approximately 54 kg (119 lb).Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device to one side of first stage conveyor (1). Lift first stage conveyor (1) and slide conveyor belt (6). Attach lifting slings and a suitable lifting device in order to install conveyor belt (6). The weight of conveyor belt (6) is approximately 54 kg (119 lb).

Tighten tension on conveyor belt (6) with adjusting bolts (7). Tighten nuts (8) on both sides of first stage conveyor.

Install deflector (4) and the bolts. Use two people to remove deflector (4). Install rubber deflector (5), the washers, and the bolts to deflector (4) .

Install covers (3) and the bolts to first stage conveyor (1) .
