Information:

Electrostatic discharge can damage integrated circuits or semiconductors if you touch bus connector pins. When not in use, keep the module in its static-shield bag. Follow these guidelines when you handle any module:Touch a grounded object to discharge static potential.Wear an approved wrist-strap grounding device.Do not touch the bus connector or connector pins.Do not touch circuit components inside the module.If available, use a static-safe work station.

Turn off the power to the base.
Unlock the end cap (5) .
Remove the end cap (4) by sliding the end cap toward you.Note: All modules to the right of the bad module will need to be removed before the bad module can be removed.
Pull the locking tab to the unlock position (1) .
Remove the module by sliding the module toward you.
Verify that the part number is correct on the replacement module.
Check that the locking tab is located in the unlock position (1) on the replacement module.
Use the slots (3) to secure the modules together.
Slide the module along the slots (3) until the modules line up.
Push the locking tab to the lock position (2) .Note: Attach all other modules that needed to be removed at this time.
Attach the end cap (4) to the last module.
Lock the end cap (5) .
Apply power to the unit and verify that the operation is correct.
