Remove eight nuts (1) and the bolts that hold the front drive shaft to the front axle. Lower the front drive shaft to the floor.
Remove eight nuts (6) and the bolts that hold the front drive shaft to the drive shaft carrier. Remove front drive shaft (2) from the machine.
Remove three grease fittings (5) from the drive shaft.
Remove the retaining rings that hold flanges (3) and bearings (4) in position on the front drive shaft. Remove the flanges, the spider gears and the bearings from the front drive shaft.Installation Procedure
Make sure that all of the parts of the front drive shaft are thoroughly clean prior to installation. Check all of the components for wear or damage. If any of the components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install bearings (4), the spider gears and flange (3) on each end of the front drive shaft.
Install three grease fittings (5). Make sure that the grease fittings are oriented correctly.
Install front drive shaft (2) in the machine.
Install the bolts and eight nuts (6) that hold the front drive shaft to the drive shaft carrier.
Install the bolts and eight nuts (3) that hold the front drive shaft to the front axle.

Remove eight nuts (1) and the bolts that hold the front drive shaft to the front axle. Lower the front drive shaft to the floor.
Remove eight nuts (6) and the bolts that hold the front drive shaft to the drive shaft carrier. Remove front drive shaft (2) from the machine.
Remove three grease fittings (5) from the drive shaft.
Remove the retaining rings that hold flanges (3) and bearings (4) in position on the front drive shaft. Remove the flanges, the spider gears and the bearings from the front drive shaft.Installation Procedure
