Rotate the hub until the filler plug (1) is in the TOP position.
Remove the level plug (2). Remove the filler plug (1).
Fill the hub with synthetic oil until the oil comes out of the level hole. The hub is filled to the proper level. Note: This procedure will allow an air space in the hub and allows the oil to expand. Failure to do this procedure will result in damage to the seal.Note: Use synthetic oils in order to provide longer service life. Equivalent synthetic oils may be used.
After you apply new thread sealant, reinstall the plugs (2) and (1).
Check for oil leaks.
