Proper engine to transmission alignment is essential to ensure trouble free operation of components without damage. These tools provide a quick, easy, lightweight and accurate method of ensuring engine to transmission alignment on tractors and scrapers equipped with the unishaft drive groups.Do not perform any procedure, outlined in this publication, or order any parts until you read and understand the information contained within.Reference: Service Manual.Necessary Parts
4C4562 Alignment Group. (A) 4C4563 Adapter. (B) 4C4565 Shaft. (C) 4C4564 Sleeve.The 4C4562 Alignment Group is required for proper alignment of unishafts on the following models:621E 6AB, 2PD623E 6CB, 6YF627E 6EB, 6GB
4C4566 Alignment Group. (D) 4C4567 Adapter. (E) 4C4569 Shaft. (F) 4C4568 Sleeve.The 4C4566 Alignment Group is required for proper alignment of unishafts on the following models:631E 1AB0750-Up637E 1FB0351-Up, 1JB0557-UpThe following models will require the 4C4566 Alignment Group if the drive shafts have been updated to include the unishaft drive line. 1. Remove drive shaft and tube assembly if necessary. Refer to the Service Manual for your machine.2. Insert shaft (B) or (E) into front of transmission case assembly.3. Guide adapter (A) or (D) over shaft (B) or (E), and position in counterbore that normally would locate the sealing surface of the tube assembly.4. Place sleeve (C) or (F) in splined bore retained by the engine flywheel assembly. The sleeve pilots in the inside diameter of the splined bore.5. Position rear engine mounts to allow shaft (B) or (E) to slip freely in both the adapter (A) or (D) and sleeve (C) or (F) bores. Tighten engine mounts.6. Remove tools in reverse sequence.7. Install tube assembly and drive shaft.
